All AreasTwo housing markets share one name here. A twelfth-floor apartment downtown and a 1940s brick house eight minutes away are both Silver Spring addresses, and neither is quoted like the other. Quick Cleaning Services covers both from Gaithersburg.

Apartment living sets the pattern downtown, and the older houses behind it set a different one. Put together, this is how the eight services rank here.

Leases turn over constantly in the towers. The unit is cleaned empty, to the standard a leasing office or the next tenant will hold it to.

Buildings downtown ask a fair question before they release a lift: who exactly is this contractor? The answer is a women-owned Maryland company that Nathalia Medeiros founded in 2016 and continues to manage herself.
Quick Cleaning Services is based in Gaithersburg, inside Montgomery County, so Silver Spring is home territory and not an outpost. The cleaners are employees of a company with a name, an address and a record you can look up.
Each of them passes a background check before working unsupervised. The business is insured and bonded, and if any part of a visit disappoints, telling us inside 24 hours brings the team back free. Read how it all started.
Nothing here has been trimmed or tidied. Google does not label reviewers by neighborhood, so take these as a picture of the team and not of one postcode.

Unit size, bathroom count, condition, and anything the building expects of a visiting contractor. That last one saves a wasted morning.

Insurance and bonding are current and documented. When a property manager asks for evidence, it is a short email away.
Whoever arrives has cleared a background check first. Concierges and residents are owed that, and so are you.
Notice something missed? Say so within 24 hours and the same team returns to correct it at no cost to you.
Access windows, lift bookings and the layout of the unit shape each visit. No two addresses share a template.
Working since 2016 has meant plenty of loading bays and sign-in sheets. The routine no longer surprises anyone.
Regular clients get the same sequence and the same finish each time, which is the whole reason to book a schedule.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, condition, plus whatever the building requires: a lift slot, a dock time, proof of insurance. Send it all in one go.
Back comes one amount covering the full visit, typically within a working day. It is fixed, so a slow lift is our problem and not yours.
Front desk, concierge or key, however entry works, the team follows it and brings everything needed. You get a day afterwards to report anything amiss.
This table names nobody. It lists what a careful building or a careful tenant asks a cleaning company to confirm, and where the answer is not always yes.

Genuine photographs from properties cleaned in Maryland. They show the result to expect; they are not presented as Silver Spring addresses.

Centered on downtown Silver Spring. Several other stops fall inside the same morning, including one across the D.C. line.
Ask and it goes out. Quick Cleaning Services is insured and bonded, and plenty of managed buildings downtown will not release a lift to a contractor who cannot show it. Flag the requirement when you request the estimate so the paperwork and the booking move together instead of one waiting on the other.
Smaller usually quotes lower, but size is one input of three. A compact one-bedroom that has not been properly cleaned in two years can land above a larger place that is kept on a routine. Condition does as much work in the figure as floor area, and bathroom count does the rest.
Tell us how access is meant to work when you book and we plan around it. In managed buildings that is usually the front desk or a concierge and not you personally. What does not work is leaving it undecided until the morning, because a team standing in a lobby is a lost slot for everybody.
The county’s multifamily inspection regime is aimed at rental housing, and the cadence follows the building’s designation, not any individual owner. If you let your unit out, it sits inside that system. If you live in it, the sensible move is to ask the county where the building stands instead of guessing from the lobby.
They will, as long as we know what they are. Older hardwood with a wax or oil finish does not want what modern sealed flooring handles without blinking, and the same is true of unsealed tile and original fixtures. Say what is original when you ask for the estimate, and leave out any product you specifically want used.
Yes. The district is part of the service area and prices on the same card as Maryland. People who own on both sides of the line often book the two together, quoted separately and scheduled on the same day where the diary allows it.
Quick Cleaning Services LLC carries out house cleaning in Silver Spring, MD for apartments, condos and detached homes, from a Gaithersburg base in the same county. The company has operated since 2016, prices every visit as a single agreed figure and serves neighboring Bethesda, Rockville and Washington, D.C. on the same route.
Because the unit itself is rarely the difficulty. Modern apartments are compact and hard-surfaced, and they clean quickly. What decides whether the visit runs to time is the building: a service lift that has to be reserved, a loading bay with fixed hours, a front desk that wants a name in advance. Tell us those rules with your estimate request and the appointment is built around them.
A reset first. The prewar and postwar streets hold brick houses with plaster walls, radiators, refinished hardwood and original bathroom tile. Dust gathers in moldings and vents and behind radiators, places a maintenance visit passes over. One deep cleaning brings the house to a level a recurring plan can then hold.
The county’s Department of Housing and Community Affairs designates each multifamily rental property as Compliant, At-Risk or Troubled according to its inspection results. The label is attached to the building as a whole and determines how frequently inspectors visit, regardless of how any single unit is kept.
It follows the grade. The county states that a well-maintained, code-compliant apartment building is inspected every three years. At-Risk properties are inspected annually, biennially or triennially at the department’s discretion, with a minimum of 25 percent of units. At a Troubled property, 100 percent of units are inspected annually until the county decides the property is no longer troubled.
No, and we would not claim to. Designations turn on code violations across the whole property. What a cleaner can do is narrower and still useful: make sure the inside of your own unit is not where an inspector finds fault. Owners who let their units tend to book a turnover clean between tenants for exactly that reason.
Under Maryland rules, yes. The Comptroller of Maryland states that cleaning of commercial and industrial buildings is subject to the 6 percent sales and use tax, and treats a building as commercial when it is used for anything other than a permanent private residence. An office downtown is taxed; the same guidance says the interior of an individually occupied apartment is not treated as commercial.
Silver Spring touches the district boundary, and the route crosses it. A client with a condo downtown and a second property in Washington can have both quoted in one conversation. Use the estimate form and list each address separately.
