All AreasThe District is the one part of the Quick Cleaning Services map that is not Maryland. The cleaning is the same on either side of the line. What differs is everything around it: how buildings admit contractors, how the city taxes the work and what it asks of landlords.
Fully Insured & Bonded Maryland pricing in the District Rowhouses and apartments

Apartments, rowhouses and a rental market that never stops moving. These are the eight services as the District uses them.

Quick Cleaning Services is a Maryland business. It was founded in Gaithersburg in 2016 by Nathalia Medeiros, is women-owned, and reaches Washington by way of Bethesda and Silver Spring on its southern round.
We say so plainly because some clients assume a District address needs a District company. What it needs is a company that turns up, carries proper cover and knows how city buildings work, and that is what crosses the line with the team.
Cover means an insured and bonded business. Vetting means a background check on every cleaner. Accountability means a free return for anything reported within 24 hours. The company’s own page has the rest.
These are from the company’s Google profile, unaltered. None claims to be from the District, and we will not pretend otherwise.
My house is always spotless and shining when the women leave! I love that I get a text the night before confirming the next day cleaning… and then another text when they’re actually on the way here! Very efficient and professional 👍

Unit size, bathrooms, condition, and whatever the front desk or the management company requires. The quote comes back as one figure.
Get Your Free EstimateGeography does not change the terms. Whatever a Maryland client receives, a Washington client receives as well.
The company’s insurance and bond apply to its work wherever it is carried out, and proof is supplied to building managers who need it.
A background check precedes any assignment. Residents and concierges can expect the named team that was booked.
If part of the clean falls short, report it within a day and it is redone on a return trip at no charge.
Loading zones, lift reservations and visitor sign-in are built into the appointment, not discovered on arrival.
Apartments and multi-level houses have been part of the workload since 2016. The method is well worn.
A regular slot is honoured and the routine is repeated, which matters when your own diary is full.
Rooms, bathrooms and condition, then the practical part: parking, entry, lift and any paperwork the building asks contractors for.
A single price is returned, usually by the next business day, with District sales tax shown where it applies. No hourly charge is involved.
The team attends as arranged and brings its own supplies. For 24 hours afterwards, anything missed can be reported and will be redone free.
City clients often book quickly. Slow down for these eight. The comparison is with general industry practice and singles out no business.

Real photographs from the team’s jobs. They were taken at Maryland properties and are here to show the standard, not to suggest a District location.

The map is centered on Washington. The team arrives from the north, through Bethesda on one side and Silver Spring on the other.
Yes. Washington is part of the regular service area, reached on the southern rounds through Bethesda and Silver Spring. District clients are booked, quoted and guaranteed on the same terms as Maryland ones.
The price for the cleaning is worked out the same way: size, bathrooms and condition, as a flat rate. The difference is tax. The District’s Office of Tax and Revenue lists cleaning services among those subject to sales tax, so tax is shown on a D.C. quote where it applies.
It can affect timing, not cost. Tell us what is available: a visitor space, a loading zone, street parking with limits. If access is awkward, an earlier or later slot sometimes solves it.
Yes. The company is insured and bonded and supplies proof on request. Send the management company’s requirements with your inquiry so everything is in place before the day.
We can clean the unit before any inspection you have scheduled. The District requires landlords to pass a Department of Buildings inspection to obtain or renew a Basic Business License as a rental property provider. What the inspector checks is a matter for that department; we take care of the condition of the unit.
Often, yes. Both are on the same southern round. Each property gets its own quote, and where the diary allows they are scheduled for the same day.
Quick Cleaning Services LLC extends its house cleaning in Washington, DC from a base in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where the company has operated since 2016. District homes and offices are quoted at a flat rate per visit, on the same rounds that serve Bethesda and Silver Spring.
The vertical layout. A typical rowhouse runs to three or four floors with a narrow stair connecting them, so supplies and equipment are carried up and down throughout the visit. Older examples add radiators, tall sash windows and original floors. A first appointment is commonly a deep cleaning, after which a regular schedule keeps the house in order.
With procedures. Managed buildings may ask for a certificate of insurance, a reserved lift, a named contact at the desk and work only within certain hours. None of this is difficult when it is known in advance. Include the building’s contractor rules with your request and the visit is planned to fit them.
The District’s Office of Tax and Revenue lists janitorial cleaning, window cleaning, and carpet and rug cleaning among taxable real property maintenance services, and states that the general sales tax rate remains 6 percent through 30 September 2027. Its page does not set out a separate rule for homes. That is a contrast with Maryland, where the state taxes cleaning of commercial buildings and treats a permanent private residence differently. For a ruling on a specific invoice, the tax office is the authority.
Yes. The Department of Buildings states that in order to obtain or renew a Basic Business License as a rental property provider, landlords must obtain and pass one of its inspections. There is no cost for the inspection itself, though a re-inspection fee is payable if the property fails or the appointment is rescheduled at short notice.
Within 90 days. The department says that if an inspection is not obtained within 90 days the license will be canceled, and that it contacts applicants within 10 business days to schedule. That gives owners a defined window in which to have the unit ready, and a turnover clean is usually booked early in it.
It is. Airbnb cleaning resets a unit after each guest, using the linens and consumables the host keeps on site. Visits are timed to checkout and check-in, so share the booking calendar or the turnaround times when you inquire.
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. Clients with a house in Montgomery County and an apartment in the District have both placed on the same round. Each address is listed separately on the estimate form and receives its own flat price.
